Hey there! Let’s join Lisa-Jo at The Gypsy Mama for some Friday writing! Here are the rules:Distance is what I seek. From this house, this neighborhood, this town. But I yearn for it not in the sense that I need to escape. On the contrary I want to move and travel and be close. But not here.
Our rv plans are yet to be realized, but I feel God getting us ready. The distance I crave from here will someday be replaced by the need to make connections as we travel. Our stops in each town, across this nation, will be precious I think. To meet people, fill in needs, listen to hearts who hurt and rejoice and laugh and cry.
This is the distance I seek. As long as Jesus is traveling with us. With Him I want no distance, only closeness and guidance to who needs us most next. Closeness. The bond that will continue to form within my family, between sister and brother, parent and child, husband and wife. That closeness God will keep providing in answer to the distance I long for now.
That was pretty good for a two-pointer-finger-hunt-and-peck-typist, don’t you think? If you can call that “typing”, which TechDaddy is certainly shaking his head and saying “no, that’s not typing.” {{Whatever you say, dear.}} So what’s your version of “On Distance”? Stopping by from GypsyMama. It sounds like you have an adventure ahead of you!!
God bless!

What a fabulous dream! …traveling the country wherever the Lord takes you. May your future RV adventure be blessed!!!
What an adventure ahead, an amazing opportunity to follow wherever the LORD leads you.
Early in our marriage my husband and I discussed buying an RV. We've made 7 major moves(and a few smaller ones) in our 16 years of marriage. An RV would have certainly been a much easier choice than the way we did it. We do talk of the day when we'll own an RV more seriously now but it's still years ahead.
I've dreamed of being that free, and look forward to a day when I can travel more…at least.
Hope your dream comes true soon for you and your family.
Ooooh what fun to see and hear of your new adventures as we just bid our RV farewell yesterday
I pray many wonderful memories for you and your family. Our year in the RV will never be forgotten!
